PROFUSION OF
WORDS MAY CONFUSE
David is a prolific
writer who produces lengthy documents and distributes numerous
drafts of his epics. Over the net and in telephone conversations
Thomas got the impression that everyone on the MFPE cyber-discussion
was carefully reading, and in agreement with, everything he was
writing. It wasn't until September 2nd -- after David called to
say it was very important for Thomas to attend the meeting because
certain forces were attempting to have the hemp energy proposal
removed from the Support Resolution -- that Thomas began to suspect
there was actually dissent in the ranks.
Thomas wasn't subscribed
to the MFPE discussion group, and hadn't been following David's
epic writings very closely at all. Basically, although he had
no problem with any of the points in the Support Resolution Thomas
was willing to commit time and energy to the MFPE on the basis
of one Resolution alone.
"Implementation of a new
energy strategy to prevent the US from ever going to war again
over oil supplies and to stop oppression of indigenous peoples
from imposed mining and waste dumping." Support Resolution,
Point One.
