The MFPE was having a meeting on September 3rd. David said that the MFPEer's were young and looking for "grey beard" guidence. He said that Rick, the MFPE guiding light, knew and respected Thomas.

David urged Thomas to begin encouraging Congresswoman Norton to speak at the October 24th event, and for Thomas to attend the MFPE organizing meeting on September 3rd.

Seemed to Thomas as if the MFPE was a harmonious and promising possibility, and started putting a little more focus into supporting the idea.
