LOGOS

Thomas suffers great discomfort because so many well-intentioned people, in search of love and understanding, are frustrated by words.

Words must have some value. Without words, no social agreements; no Constitutions, no shared religious beliefs, no cooperative industry, no vision council. Social life is hectic enough, how much more would it be without words.

Yet, misunderstood words, misinterpreted words, vague words, meaningless words, hostile words, words of pride, words of self and/or false praise; illogical words, unreasonable words, irrational words. Pages and pages of words, millions, billions, trillions, gadzillions of words ....

sometimes Thomas is awed at how much chaos words create.
