There are alternative views to the Peace Park story, of course. First, there is the "official" perspective; second, there are the handful of individuals, attention-seekers, who have taken it upon themselves to frivolously emulate, or harass and intimidate, the vigilers; and third, there are the regulation writers who have whittled away at the First Amendment, often using the more outrageous actions of the attention-seekers to reduce the visibility and credibility of those who seek real societal change.
