HOW
THOMAS GOT INVOLVED
One day, maybe sometime in mid-January,
1998, Thomas was minding his apolitical business in the Emerald
City, when he got a message from David Crockett Williams. Thomas
returned David's call, and David informed him that the DoE was
holding a public meeting to hear comments on DoE's proposed Comprehensive
National Energy Strategy (CNES). David related his experience
at a CNES public hearing in California, and suggested that Thomas
attend a similar one scheduled for February 19th in the capitol,
and put in a pitch for infinite energy.
Over the years his involvement with
various "Peace Marches" repeatedly brought David to
DC. Owing to his static position outside
the presidential palace, sometime around 1986 Thomas first met
David. Favorably impressed both with David's stated personal goals
and steadfast, active commitment to the ideal to benefiting all
humanity, over the years Thomas developed considerable respect
for David, as a person.
