Surely, one can both believe in Free Will + decisionmaking, and still be a terrible decisionmaker, simply by applying unrighteous judgments.

"Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment." -- Jesus, John, 7: 24.

Without understanding what's being said the odds against making a "righteous judgment" are astronomical.
