In 1980, God inspired Elijah Hong, the Prophet of All Nations, to preach the message "Mount Zion--the Great Mountain--Shall Fill the Whole Earth" (see Dan. 2:35). God later moved the prophet to preach another epochal message from the same book in the Bible: "The Most High Will Destroy the Great image-the Human Kingdoms" (see Dan. 2:44). As a result, the devil Satan's evil works for the past 6,000 years were exposed. The human kingdoms are, in fact, the biggest idol (image). Through the human kingdoms, Satan receives man's worship, thus robbing God of the worship.

Under the systems of the human kingdoms, people are brought up to believe in patriotism. And without realizing it, they deify their countries. Even political symbols, like national flags and anthems, become objects of adoration. Don't people know that the God who created heavens and earth is the only Most High? Yet, whether they are great or small, all human kingdoms emphasize their own independence and sovereignty.

This is Satan's ploy to deny God, His sovereignty and His rule. He pushes God's dominion outside the boundaries of man's kingdoms. Thus, man's worship of God is, at best, confined to the scope of religion. And so, the nations and kings go their own way, doing whatever they wish, greatly offending God and opposing His Sovereignty. Satan then causes the human kingdoms to be in constant conflict with each other. And many people, under the deceptive concept of patriotism, follow Blindly. They even think it honorable to die for their countries.

For several thousand years, countless souls have fallen victim to Satan's tricks and the human kingdoms' deceptions. They assume it is a matter of course that nations exist. Therefore, God must overthrow the thrones of kingdoms and destroy the strength of the Gentile kingdoms (see Hag.2:22). He sent the Lord Jesus to destroy the works of the devil and to cast out the rulers of this world (See 1 John 2:8; John 12:31). When this happens, the root of all confusion and sorrow will be wiped out, and the order and harmony that were meant to be when God created the world will be restored.

"And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever'' (Dan. 2:44). Jesus answered, "My kingdom is not of this world" (John 18:36). The kingdom God sets up is the kingdom of the Lord-the church of the living God. All those who have received the full truth of Blood, Water and Holy Spirit and who follow the apostles' leading are the citizens of this noble kingdom (see Phil. 3:20). They are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household (church) of God (see Eph. 2:19).

"The rulers of the human kingdoms join hands to deny God's sovereignty. But when they take counsel together, against the LORD and against His Anointed, God issues His solemn decree: ]"Yet I have set My King on My holy hill of Zion" (see Ps. 2:1-6). This King of Zion is Jesus Christ, the King of kings. He is the King set up by God (see Acts 17:7). God has set up not only a kingdom, but a King as well. This kingdom is unshakable (see Heb. 12:28). When Christ reigns, He will end all rule and authority and will deliver the kingdom to God the Father (see 1 Cor. 15:24-25). When the human kingdoms are crushed, the kingdoms of this world shall become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He (our Lord Jesus Christ) shall reign forever and ever! (Rev. 11:15). This kingdom and this King shall remain forever! The gospel of the Lord Jesus is the gospel of this everlasting kingdom. It will be preached in all the world as a witness to all people. And then the end will come.

Union of church and State?
Or Separation of CHURCH AND STATE?

The Lord Jesus reigns for all eternity, while kings rule only for the time being. Still, Satan deceives people by drawing attention to the reign of earthly kings. He also uses these rulers to oppress people. Of course, the media are focused on reporting every word and action of the world leaders. Regardless of how they came to power--whether by self-appointment, royal lineage, coup or democratic elections-rulers have become the center of attention. To get to where they are, they couldn't care less if others must suffer. Everyone is at the mercy of these contemptuous kings. Even religious leaders, who claim to serve God, consider the rulers of the human kingdoms (Caesar) their only king (see John 19:15). What's more, what should have been the "freedom" to serve God is now a "granted" privilege in the constitution. One's faith is subject to regulation by the human kingdoms, and the position of the church is debased and made subservient. The relationship between man's kingdom and the church has become one of "church and state." This has evolved into the irrelevant debate over "Union of Church and State versus Separation of Church and State.

In reality, the stone cut out of the mountain without hands (the church of the living God-the New Testament Church) is the "terminator" of the human kingdoms (see Dan 2:44). The terminator and the terminated cannot be united. By the same token, separation of politics and religion is also a fallacy that degrades the church. Both the union and separation of church and state approve the existence of human kingdoms. So this is an erroneous concept, because God has destined to crush the human kingdoms. They do not have a relationship with God's church. Political religious relationship may improve, -and- each entity may even benefit the other. But the relationship between the church of the living God and the human kingdoms will never improve. To the church of God, the human kingdoms are mere organizations which must be destroyed. Therefore, man's kingdoms and the church of the living God have no political-religious relationship, and issues like "separation of church and state" are irrelevant.

The devil's seat is the human (see Rev. 17:15). They are his camp and dominion (see Rev. 17 It). For the past several thousand years, the politics, economy, military, technology, culture and other systems of the human kingdoms have made what seems to be astounding progress. This is indeed the great city of Babylon recorded in the Bible. Satan controls all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. They are his trump card for gaining the worship of the world (see Matt. 4:8. But the great city of Babylon will fall in one hour, and all her glory will become worthless (see Rev. 18:1-4).

To sacrifice one's life for any human kingdom is to be an accomplice of the human kingdoms. Such a sacrifice will be in vain. The nature of man's kingdoms is to be independent of God and to be at enmity with Him. Therefore, loving these man-made organizations (the great image), which were never meant to exist in the first place, is not a virtue, but a degenerate emotion from the devil Satan. The end of the human kingdoms is near. The King of kings shall strike all nations (see Rev. 19:15). All people should come out of Babylon, lest they share in her sins (see Rev.18:4).

People should see through the deception of patriotism, and stop taking part in its related activities. God created men; men should give themselves to God. They do not belong to any human kingdom. The prophesies of the prophet concerning man's kingdoms shall all come true. God will terminate the human kingdoms. This is something He will accomplish in the last days (see Rev. 1:19). Smashing the human kingdoms is not destructive, but constructive. Ending the human kingdoms is realizing God's kingdom-the universal, and peaceful kingdom of Christ. This is the holy obligation of the NTC: To execute God's sovereinty, end human kingdoms, and realize God's kingdom. This is the only way for mankind to enjoy peace and rest.

Peace and freedom are the common goals of all mankind. They are also what God planned to give men when He created them. However for more than 6,000 years, this has only been a hope. Nowhere on earth is there true freedom and true peace. There are racial conflicts and international disputes everywhere. The inscription on plaque at the United Nations square reads,"They shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore. These words mock the United Nations themselves. 1995 happened to be the 50th anniversary of the United Nations. More than 180 heads of state gathered in New York for a grand celebration. But what was there to celebrate? What has the United Nations accomplished in the last 50 years? What has it brought to mankind? We did not see swords turning into plowshares. What we saw were atomic bombs turning into nuclear bombs.

Their "arms reduction" was merely replacing outdated weapons with new, more advanced ones. Is there any nation that is unarmed? Is there any nation that has not been building up its military? No. So international conflicts go unresolved. The 6,000-year history of mankind can be called history of chaos' And what is the source Of these problems? These problems stem from what the world calls "nations. " The nations are the source of all problems and are solely responsible for the world's chaos.

The Origin of

"From these the coastland people of the Gentiles were separated into their lands, everyone according to his own language, according to their families, into their nations"(Gen. 10:'\ "These were the families of the sons of Noah, according to their generation in their nations; and from these the nations were divided on the earth after "the flood" (Gen. 10:32).

In the beginning, there were no nations. Men only began to divide lands and form nations after the flood. Actually, God intended for the earth to support every man and every creature .He did not make land for any-nation or regime to occupy. To exist, a nation needs land, but the earth does not need any nation. Human kingdoms (nations) are merely the products of degenerate men-men who have departed from God. They are autonomies formed by dividing the earth created by God. Nations are continually being overthrown, divided revolutionized and built. They are unstable, man-made systems. They can be divided, and they can disintegrate. Some people say, "When a city falls, no inhabitant will be safe; when a nation disintegrates, no home will remain." But the fact is that home existed long before man formed any nation. Human kingdoms did not exist at the time of Creation. Human kingdoms are the chief culprits which have stolen the land and destroyed God's order of creation.

Mankind builds nations according to place, language and land. Every nation on earth has its borders Therefore, human kingdoms are earthly, not heavenly. The descendants of Noah divided themselves into nations. It is the nature of the human kingdoms to divide men into groups; they cannot unite all men as one. When the human kingdom's first appeared and grew, the people thought of building the tower of Babel, whose top was in the heavens, in order-to make a name for themselves (see Gen. 11:1-9). They wanted to exalt themselves above God. Basically, human kingdoms do not want God. They choose their own kings and rulers. However, God is the King of kings. He is the Ruler of all mankind. But the human kingdoms do not want God to be their King; they want to be kings themselves. Today, on such a small planet, man's kingdoms have multiplied to over 100 countries with over 100 rulers. And the nature of all these human kingdoms is to reject God. The nature of the human kingdoms is to establish their own sovereignty and deny God's rule and sovereignty. Therefore, God does not justify the human kingdoms' existence. The further they develop, the harder it is for them to provide peace and harmony; The existence and activities of thehuman kingdoms are the most abnormal phenomenon in the universe.

Unfortunately, man fails to see the true nature of the human kingdoms. He continues to live under the rule of the nations, thinking it is normal. He never questions the human kingdoms' existence.

As the human kingdoms develop, degenerate culture and corrupt ideas take control of man. What are degenerate culture and corrupt ideas? They are the concepts of having nations ant (loving them. It is natural to love yourself and others. The same goes for loving your homeland and family. But loving your country (patriotism) is not natural. No one is born with an innate love for his country, for "country" differs from "homeland" or "family. "Country" is not a creation of God. It is a product of man used to meet political ends. More concretely, nation is a "structure" and "unit" that is not supposed to exist in the universe. The concept of patriotism is basically a result of .indoctrination Nations have created political symbols (such as national flags and anthems) to give themselves an identity. So patriotism is perceived as a virtue. However, if man realizes that a nation is merely an unstable, man-made systems, he will not regard patriotism as a progressive sentiment. Under the ideologies and education of degenerate man; patriotism has become a noble virtue. Citizens are taught to love their country and to be willing to give their lives for their country. But the human kingdoms are not ours. Only God's kingdom belongs to us. If you want to -be patriotic, then be patriotic toward God's kingdom. Unfortunately, many people are so loyal to the human kingdoms that they die for them. They feel that such a sacrifice is valuable. But ask yourself this: Is dying for a country the highest possible realm? Is it really worth it? Many Scots died for Scotland, and many English died for England. But Scotland and England became one country in the 18th century, should people show patriotism for Scotland or England? Now that the war has ended, didn't those who died for Scotland and England die for nothing? If Taiwan and China have conflicts, the Kuomingtang will surely tell the Taiwanese troops to love their own country and fight the Chinese Communists. The Chinese communist government will likewise tell its troops to be loyal to their country and fight the Taiwanese. So, since the people are under a divided political regime, what should they do? How can they love their country? Wouldn't the Taiwanese killing the Chinese communist troops be killing their own people? And if the Chinese troops kill the Taiwanese troops, wouldn't they also be killing fellow Chinese? How can man show his loyalty? How does one love his country? Is a country worth loving and dying for?

Such patriotism is tragic! Nevertheless, most people don't realize it. They think that dying for one's country is highly honorable. In Taiwan, there is a national martyrs' memorial at Yuan-shan. Every year many go there to remember the dead. They think that those who die for their country are great. But how did dying for their country make them great? There are more than 100 countries in the world. Which country should one die for? What criterion should we use to decide what country is worth dying for? Which one should we love? Wouldn't loving one's own country contradict the interests of other countries? Is a country worth loving and dying for? Are human kingdoms worth fighting for? Are they worth dying for? No, not at all! Being unpatriotic is not immoral, and it should not make you feel guilty. However, since the concept of loving one's country has been deeply ingrained in men, men have developed an erroneous, degenerate concept called patriotism. So people mistake patriotism for a virtue, when, in fact, it is a corrupt and degenerate sentiment.

"For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilence/, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows" (Matt. 24:7-8). It is sad when nation rises against nation and kingdom against kingdom. It means disaster for society. However, during times of crises, many political figures like being called "saviors of the people." But who are they meant :;to save? Easterners or Westerners? Blacks or whites? Actually, the rulers are not saviors at all, but chiefs of troublemakers! They "[save and protect" their people at the expense of the lives of other peoples,!, Thus, love for one's country only brings endless destruction.

Everyone shows his love for his own country. The Chinese love China. The Americans love America. The English love England; the Germans, Germany; and the French, France. This bond, once established, causes one to attack other countries to show his loyalty to his own country. So the result of patriotism is war.

For the love of one's people and country, people are willing to fight to the end. So nation rises against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. How much blood will be shed! How many corpses will pile up! How frightening! How foolish! This is the beginning of sorrows. The so-called love for a nation is the root of evil and chaos in society! For more than 6,000 years, national ties have been deeply rooted in man. This is the strong fortress of the devil Satan which has taken the hearts of men captive. Countries have become large prisons. In these prisons, there are military, politics, economy, judiciary systems, culture, entertainment, drugs and religions. Satan uses these systems to harm man, bringing endless tribulations, tragedies, murder, death... Therefore, the God of heaven will destroy this fortress, and utterly remove this root of sorrows!
