The Most High God Will Requite the Culprit
The Evil KMT Regime in Taiwan for its Sins and Violent Deeds

"Operation 1206"--KMT's Appalling Display of Brutality

On Feb. 4, 1997, Tan Goo-hong a New Testament Church (NTC) Christian went to Taiwan to make a pilgrimage to Mount Zion. Unexpectedly, at the immigration of Hsiaokang Airport in Kaohsiun& Tan was arrested by the airport police as a wanted criminal" and was taken to the district court in Taayuan. The next morning(Feb. 5), Tan was arraigned. He was charged with "obstruction of justice" during the Chiang Kai-shek (CKS) Airport Incident which occurred in December of 1985.

This is what really happened in the airport incident: When the Kuomintang (KMT) regime found out that NTC Christians from Malaysia 52 in all, would be arriving as the Nanyang Pilgrimage Group at the CKS International Airport on Dec. 7, 1985, it set up "Operation 1206." This was the code name for the persecution it planned to carry out just one in a series of premeditated persecutions. When the pilgrims arrived and were going through immigration, police officers confiscated the passport of one of the pilgrims, Tang Leh-seng, without warning. They falsely accused him of being involved in "illegal activities" during his 1983 visit to Taiwan. So Tang was barred entry into Taiwan. It is true that Tang had come to Taiwan before, but it was to visit the legal residents of Mount Zion, the three families of Tan and Liu whom the KMT had illegally evicted from their home on Mount Zion and who were, consequently, wandering on the riverbed of Hsiaolin. So at the airport, police dragged Tang to the second story of the terminal. There they locked him up, beat him, and interrogated him.

The other pilgrims who came forward to reason with the police were also denied entry into Taiwan. After the KMT carried out its violence on the pilgrim all 52 were forced to board a China Airlines flight bound for Hong Kong There they were ditched and made international refugees.

NTC representatives from all over Taiwan and a previous group of 39 pilgrims who had arrived in November, including Tan Goo-hong, had gone to the airport to welcome the 52 pilgrims. They waited for a long time, but there was no sign of 52 pilgrims. So NTC representatives approached the authorities The result? Countless riot squads attacked these unarmed Christians for four days and three nights, thus creating the inhuman and violent airport incident (for details, see "Operation 1206" Chiang Dynasty and Evil KMT's Premeditated Persecution ( NTC.) After being tortured, the 39 pilgrims, who had come to welcome the 52 pilgrims, were also deported. In addition, KM police assaulted and injured dozens of NTC Christians from Taiwan. Ironically, nine of those Christians were charged wit "assaulting the police" and "obstruction of justice." All nine were ordered to serve jail time on tramped-up charges. Tan Goo-hong was charged with the same "crimes." Two weeks later, Tan returned to Malaysia. Considered a '"wanted criminal" in Taiwan, Tan was blacklisted and his visa applications to Taiwan were never approved. Finally, 11 years later, he was allowed t visit Taiwan again. But when he arrived at the Hsiaokang Airport, he was arrested and taken to the district court in Taoyuan.

The Robber Cries, "Thief!" - Crime Upon Crime

NTC Christians, including Tan Goo-hong are the real victims of the 1985 CKS Airport Incident. But the evil KMT regime has never shown a trace of repentance for its display d violence. Now,in the name of the law, the KMT has re-exposed the skeletons hidden in its closet from 11 years ago, by arresting and convicting Tan Goo-hong. Its groundless charges and blatant lies are an attempt to cover its sin of bloodshed. The KMT is acting like a robber calling "thief" Its sins are multiplying.

We Deny the Legitimacy of Culprits-Turned-Plaintiffs

During the arraignment on Feb. 5, 1997, the presiding judge claimed that times had changed and that Tan's case was minor. Although the judge was well aware that Tan was to leave Taiwan on Feb. 17, he did not dismiss the case. Instead, he ordered that Tan not to be allowed to leave Taiwan until the next trial, set for Feb. 15. In response, the NTC issued a solemn statement (see "New Testament Church's Statement on the Tan Goo-Hong Incident" and "God of New Testament Church Will Not Spare Remnants of Chiang Dynasty 8t Evil KMT"-a statement by Tan Goo-hong and distributed it on Feb. It was a demonstration of holding fast the truth and justice. Had Tan appeared in court, it could have been equivalent to condoning the illegitimate position of the authorities-culprits-turned-plaintiffs. Even if Tan had been acquitted, God's righteousness still would not have been met. For it is the KMT regime--the evil ruling authorities who set up "Operation 1206" and who shed the blood of NTC Christians in the past--who should be condemned and punished Justice would not have been manifested regardless of the verdict. Justice can only be realized when the evil authorities apologize, admit their wrongdoing and redress the victims.

Police and Judicial Violence--Again!

The NTC has no intention of making things difficult for any judicial body, nor does it want to deny judicial justice outright. However, the NTC must hold fast the highest form of justice, that is, the justice of the living God Having made this stance clear, Tan Goo-hong arrived at the CKS Airport, ready to board a plane bound for Malaysia on Feb. 17. He was stopped Once again, the riot squads were dispatched to the airport and were ordered to deal with the Christians with force. KMT's police violence repeated at the airport. History repeated itself. Many Christians were injured, and Tan was forcibly taken back to the district court in Taoyuan. The judge, knowing clearly that Tan's absence on Feb. 15 was for the sake of holding East justice, paid no attention to Tan's or NTC's statement. He ordered that Tan be apprehended under the pretext that Tan was a "fugitive" and, therefore, a threat. So on Feb. 24, instead of redressing the victim, the judge found Tan guilty and ordered him to serve six months in prison (commuted to three months in prison or a fine). And even though the judge knew that Tan had come to Taiwan to go on pilgrimage to Mount Zion, he wrote in the verdict that Tan should be "deported" after serving his term. Otherwise, he wrote, Tan '"would become homeless and pose a threat to Taiwan's security." Here is a judicial system which advocates judicial justice and yet fails to investigate the facts and punish the real culprits. Instead, it makes itself an accomplice of the evil ruling authorities. Nothing can be more unrighteous than such a sentence which distorts the truth and bullies the innocent.

The Unrighteous KMT Cannot Afford to Imprison the Witness of Truth and Justice

For the sake of holding fast truth and justice, NTC Christians would rather be wrongly imprisoned than pay a fine. Like all the witnesses of faith in the past, they will not accept deliverance just to save themselves (see Heb. 11:35).

Between the time he was arrested on Feb. 17 and the time he was sentenced on Feb. 24, Tan Goo-hong was locked up in the detention center. After the sentencing the judge told Tan that he could be released on bail of NT$10,000 (US$250). But Tan rejected the offer. Facing the unrighteous sentence of the human kingdoms, the witness of faith refused to stay the fine or the bail. He would rather be imprisoned for the imprisonment would itself be a judgment against the unrighteousness and darkness of the judicial system. NTC Christians from Taiwan and overseas were all prepared to visit our brother in all and to expose the lawlessness of the human kingdoms.

The evil KMT realized it had created a hot potato for itself, so it was now anxious to get rid of it. There , the detention center and the court plotted together to pay the bail on our brother's behalf. How underhanded and lewd! The NTC would not accept such "kindness." Instead, she was filled with divine wrath.

The evil KMT, in order to arrest Tan Goo-hong a "wanted criminal," had mobilized thousands of police to demonstrate violence at the CKS International Airport the gate of the ROC, at the expense of its "national image." Even felons are never given such "special treatment." Having wasted so much of its public resources, and having tried and sentenced Tan "in accordance with the law," why did the KMT stop executing the law "to the letter"? Why did it become so panicky and so anxious to get Tan out of prison with such a base plot? It was clear that the KMT was frightened and knew that it was on shaky ground. This unrighteous regime could not afford to imprison the witness of truth and justice!

This case has spanned 11 years, and has become a great persecution of faith, a grievance that infuriates both God and man. Now the KMT has resorted to "closing" the case in this manner. Where's justice? Where's righteousness? The unrepentant nature of the ruling KMT's authorities has never changed. Under the KMT's evil and unrighteous system, the judicial body worked hand-in-hand with the regime to do evil. For this reason, the righteous God will champion justice for His church. He will pursue and punish KMT, the evil culprit, for all its violent and evil deeds.

The Most High Judge Will Close the Case

Here is our announcement to the KMT authorities and their judicial system:

The living God who created heavens and earth is the One who can close the case. He is also the highest Judge. He shall judge the world in righteousness, and He shall administer judgement for the peoples in uprightness (see Ps. 9:8; 96:13). He shall judge between the nations (see Isa. 2:4). Our God will not acquit the wicked, nor will He condemn the guiltless (see Nah. 1:3;Matt. 12:7), for true and righteous are His judgments (see Rev. 19:2).

Pursue and Punish the Culprits

When God decides to carry out punishment, He is not restricted by time or space. He will not only address an individual grievance, but will also hunt down and punish the culprits behind all unrighteousness. Tan Goo-hong's case is only the tip of the iceberg. It is one pile in a heap of mounting evidence against the KMT which persists in doing wrong and refuses to repent. In addition to the violence the KMT used or' NTC Christians from Taiwan and overseas through "Operation 1206," it had also illegally plundered Holy Mount Zion, imprisoned the people of Zion one after another, blacklisted the overseas NTC Christians, physically attacked the prophet and other "church members, and executed other acts of violence. Its list on. This evil regime has never, not even once, admitted its wrongdoing and apologized to the NTC. Lee Teng-hui, the current ruler and a self-professed Christian, worships idols and betrays the Lord for his own glory, thus leading the island of Taiwan to commit a grave sin with him. Lee Teng-hui knows that the NTC has been persecuted for its faith for many years. He also knows that Chiang Ching-kuo the tyrant died a violent death with blood spilling out of the openings of his face because he plundered Holy Mount Zion. But Lee Teng-hui refuses to be warned. He lacks the sincerity and good intention to relieve the suffering of the NTC. Although Chiang-kuo was evil, at least he did not dare worship idols in public. Lee, on the other hand, does. As a result, God's fury will be kindled against Lee. Teng-hui and the KMT regime. Recently, the authorities also created rumors that the Bureau of Property might "repossess" Mount Zion. The rumors were spread for the purpose of confusing the public and covering up the fact that the NTC has legitimate ownership of Mount Zion and that the KMT had plundered Mount Zion illegally years ago. How much lower can this evil regime stoop! The KMT is lawless, godless and intolerable!

Punish the KMT for ALL the Violent Deeds It has Done to the People

The NTC is willing to forgive our enemies, but on one condition. The evildoers must first repent sincerely. Without their repentance, NTC's forgiving them would be tantamount to covering up the culprits' sins and condoning their actions. We dare not forgive whom God has not forgiven. We dare not justifywhom God has condemned. God can forgive any sin, regardless of its gravity, but only on the condition that His standard of righteousness be met. In other words, one must "confess" and "repent." If one sincerely confesses his or her sins, God will forgive (see 1 Jn. 1:9). Repentance is for the remission of sins (see Acts 2:38). This is the principle of the truth, the righteous standard of God that no one in the world can change or lower.

To fulfill God's righteous is judgment and to abide by God's highest will, the NTC is prepared to pay any price. Until today, the KMT regime shows no sign of repentance. In fact, it is behaving worse than ever before. The God of heaven will requite it for the countless premeditated persecutions it has carried out on the NTC. He will also requite the KMT for all the violent things it has done to its people and all the grievances it had created, including the 228 incident, Sun Liren's case, Leichen's case, Bo yang's case, Formosa incident, the Lin Family murder, murder of Chen Wuncheng, murder of Henry Liu, and many more.

The God Who Judges and Rewards According to One's Work
Judges the World with Righteousness

Our God judges and rewards according to one's work (see Rev. 22: 12). He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained (see Acts 17:3 1). The day of His judgment and punishment has come, and the day of the Lamb's wrath has come (see Rev. 6:15-17). God's Spirit has moved the Prophet of All Nations Elijah Hong to proclaim: In Un Neuf Neuf Sept (1997), the Most High will judge, pursue, and punish all the culprits in the world! The remnants of the Chiang dynasty and the evil KMT whose conscience is dead are all the more the targets of God's destruction!

Crush All Rulers in Power and Destroy all Human Kingdoms

The evil rulers of the human kingdom all take advantage of the fact that they are "in power." They assume that they can kill or spare at will. But it is when all the kings are "in power" that the God of heaven sets up another kingdom, that is, the church (NTC) of the living God. This kingdom will never be destroyed, nor can it be rendered to others, but it shall, crush and destroy all other kingdoms. And this kingdom will last forever (Dan. 2:44).God has numbered the days of the evil KMT regime. The tragic end of Belshazzar, the tenant in the past (see Dan. 5:25-30), will come upon Lee Teng-hui and the evil KMT which makes itself God's enemy.
