LOST FROM REALITY
Man are blinded by the glitter of their creations,
made deaf by the words "you need it,"
made weak by its constant use,
and are drunkards by their want for more.
Man create to appeal to the lust of the eye
thinking not of the long-range effects,
caring only that they must have it,
and to get it will make themselves slaves.
Man will advertise it to provoke a need,
give value to it where there is none,
they make it of such great social importance
they often feel belittled when they have it not.
Man are encouraged to use it everyday
though for centuries they have not had it,
yet it makes easy something they always do
while weakening their natural abilities to do it.
Because it appeals to man's lusting eye,
has been valued for social dignity,
makes easy something they have always done
they will put true needs aside only to get it.
How are man free who are devoted to spouses,
binding themselves with the care of houses,
restrict themselves by the clothing they wear,
and claim turf they refuse to share?
Who is free who explore not the unknown,
refuse to leave the area where they have grown,
accept another's teachings as to what is true,
and another's legislating what they're to do?
Who is free without mental agility,
bending their minds accepting pressures that be,
standing fully erect when pressures are gone,
and find contentment in being alone?
How is a land free when food has to be bought,
neglect yourself for others you are taught,
support not the state you're less than man,
and be willing to die in defense of land?
Who is free who cling to right and fight wrong,
abhor the weak and praise the strong,
travel the roads most often trod,
and rejects a devil for a god?
Ask any man how to define the term free
and observe the multitude of answers given thee;
yet most all of their meanings are about the same
doing what I want to without guilt or shame.
Then question them about the hurting of another
and if all other lifes do they consider a brother.
Such questions make them stammer, stutter, and spew
because the ecology of earth is considered by so few.
Someone said free is having nothing left to loose,
but the following definition is the one I choose:
Limited by the limitations that's believed by one;
imposing on others only for existence's needs, barring none;
only on things that reproduce themselves will one depend,
one's own species and themselves does one defend,
plus the self-producing environment their housing be.
Only a few will know that truth since only that few ever gets free.
Man who hate are slaves
to a fight to remove their foes,
driven by the want of revenge
on what only their Karma knows.
Man who love are slaves
to the maintenance of things adored,
trapping themselves with commitments
to the things to which they're bestowed.
Man who love with hate are free
to accept and reject all things equally,
for that which is is that it is
and they are content to let things be.
Man who are free are slaves
to evading the traps that bind,
by being afraid of losing their freedom
their liberty they leave behind.
Man who are are slaves
to an enslaving choice of their own,
except those who love with hate
leaving what's not destiny alone.
What is death that most man should abhor,
that a poet of old called Crossing The Bar
when the body lays inactive and deteriorating?
Why should we be afraid of the segregating
of the body from its motivating source
commonly called the ghost or life force?
A singer once said. I'm afraid to die,
I don't know what's in store... beyond the sky,
and why should man be so afraid of death
though pains rack the body with every breath?
Death is called sleep by some worshipped sages,
some writs say man rest, often for many ages;
into a burning hell others think they'll be cast
to forever pay for deeds in thieir living past.
It's not knowing one's reward is why man are afraid,
most see their deeds as having the prine to be paid
of eternal burning in hell they think they'll pay.
Since most man think the earth's end is on its way
and afterwards their reward for living has no end,
they accept the known no matter the shape they're in.
Another meaning to death is simply being changed,
when thoughts and beliefs are fully rearranged
until one's ways friends and family can't understand
because their way life only a few will or can.
That, too, is a death most which man abhor,
giving up what others have taught them we are
to travel the path only few have ever gone
to teach us the wisdom only that few have known.
The death man abhor most is not afraid they've changed,
but to change their bodies, not of thoughts being rearranged.
To reap what has been sown is often after reincarnation
so eternally burning in hell is man's misinterpretation.
There's too much complaining about oppression
because we reject it with no desire to comprehend
that our oppressors are not an enemy, as we pretend,
but are friends sent to aid our progression.
What does it take to build muscles strong?
Working them against a strong opposition
and by such works become strong with definition,
improving sinew which as a protection for the bone.
Oppression is opposition to one's mind.
Exploration of the unknown brings understanding
not attachments or rejections that's so demanding.
Oppression has not, by most, been truly defined.
All things can harm or help its receiver
for nothing is good nor evil on its own,
it is good or evil by the teachings sown
and why oppression as evil is a deceiver.
Some man call themselves Free Spirits,
but what, may I ask, is a spirit?
Spirit is called by some man's life force,
which some others also call man's ghost;
thus, Spirit is only a bodiless ghost.
In the the west's holy writ a Sage wrote
my words are spirit and they are life.
That writ also says god is a spirit,
and believe it or not it says, god is word.
If words are spirit, which that sage says is life,
then spirit is the intended understanding of words.
Using the latter definition for Free Spirit
we find it to mean one freed of society's beliefs.
Society has the belief in good and evil
or, a belief in only half of the reality,
so one claiming to be a Free Spirit
is one seeking the proper use of all things
and by doing so, brings their dead minds to life.
I have stopped my travels to pass this message on
and as soon as I'm through I shall be gone,
but it's my love for you and hate for your sadness
which causes me to work and bring some gladness
to you with that frame of mind I want to die.
I know that feeling too, for there was a time when I
sought to end it all by passing into death,
but a whisper came from within before I took my breath.
What was said has since escaped my mind
though what brought me joy I did later find.
One sage said he is the way, and for me that's true,
that's why wherever you see me, I'm only passing through.
But everywhere I go I see sadness on your face
and realize it's because you haven't found your place.
You can't find it in a crowd, nor in what is taught in school,
no other man can tell you for what they say, as a rule,
will only add to your sadness, for the answer lies within.
How do I reach my root-center you ask me
after seeing me joyous and content as can be,
but the answer to that question was shown to you long before
though in your attempt to please others you actually closed that door.
You didn't do it alone is another thing I know
but others wouldn't leave you alone for your center to show
you what to do, but kept you cuddled so tight
with do this and do that that you couldn't see your center's light.
Then later when your center came, others called it fantasy
thinking what they were doing is the way things ought to be.
Now to get you on the path to hear what your center say
is to bring again those fantasies you let go yesterday,
explore them to their depth, in them are the clues
to bring again your joy and dissipate your blues.
If you ask me, maybe I can give aid,
from your life I may remove some shade
to assist your reaching the joy you get from your center within.
Looking at a distance through a window screen
the wires from which it is formed are not seen,
focus on the wires of the screen and without a doubt
what is seen beyond will never be clearly made out.
If you read with your focus only on each word
the understanding you usually get is mostly absurd,
if the words form only pictures in the mind's eye
the exact quotation of the words will pass you by.
Focus is an action we must learn to control
if we're to recognize the picture clearly and whole.
Focus only distantly and you'll miss what is near;
focus only close and things at a distance you'll fear*.
Let your focus alternate between what's near and far
to know where in life's cycle you presently are.
If on one you are focused and the other one you're not
there's no understanding the purpose for your present lot.
*Fear is used here to mean afraid and not "to proceed with cautious learning as it acually means."
In order to achieve
one must believe.
Without believing
there's no achieving.
For one to believe brings the acts
necessary to produce the facts
giving proof that a manifestation
can be produced into a creation.
So let your beliefs move you
in the way which behooves you
to draw the mental blueprints
to create as your spirit consents.
Thus, what the mind conceives
the spirit in you will achieve
in accord with the cycle of time
set in motion by the Zeroversal mind.
The blood passed by adult girls each month
is something most of us expect,
but there is a few, a very few,
who have never had that regret.
A sickly girl will pass her blood
dark and often quite long,
improve her health and you will see
it shortens with darkness gone.
If she eats raw and only of vegetation,
from salt and flesh abstain,
and exercise hard and vigorously
her health she will regain.
Don't take this, a boy's word, as true
but girl, prove them for you to see
that a return to natural hardship
will cause the blood to cease to be.
From a pound of peas I was to sow
half I cooked before placing them in a row.
The area was kept moist and got plenty of sun
so most of the raw grew, but of the cooked, none.
New life was produced from the raw, as it should be,
while none came from the cooked gave understanding to me
that the health of man's bodies is from the foods we eat,
which nature provides for all lifes with only the sun's heat.
The tree of life and fountain of youth are man's dream
and are metaphors of raw vegetation, or so it seem.
From the foods we eat all our tissues are rejuvenated
was planned for eternal life since man was created,
but good and evil brought cooking foods for is preservation
and aging and death to our tissue rather than rejuvenation.
The path to life is, by a flame and sword, kept
so none may enter unless they will accept
all of their attachments being cut away
and a fire-purified mind born to stay.
Our diet must return to what nature intended,
accept bare bodies without lust and being offended,
let femininity and masculinity replace husband or wife,
and become balanced again to have everlasting life.
