We are reminded of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's. Prophetic vision that, "violence is a never-ending spiral, begetting only more violence." Isn't it time our country chose a new way of dealing with conflict? A way that defuses hate and ends destruction?

Our History teaches us that the use of violence never leads to peace. We've seen the evidence of this in Iraq, in Columbia, in Turkey, and now we see it again in Yugoslavia. Ironically, even Commanding General of NATO, Wesley Clark said that bombing would lead to an "entirely predictable" escalation of violence.

Practice Resurrection

We call the United States to repentance from an outright violation of international law. Solutions lie in the application of nonviolent conflict resolution methods as stated in the UN Charter and in keeping with the spirit of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Allow the United Nations to fulfil its purpose. Allow our world community to live in peace.
