Spiritual communities of all
faiths, social and political organizations and individuals are encouraged to
participate in the Interfaith Pilgrimage of
the Middle Passage as volunteers when the pilgrimage passes through the
Washington metropolitan area on July 1O‑16, 1998. Volunteers are especially needed to:
*Provide
transportation (vans) and meals for pilgrimage participants
*Operate water
stations along the walking route
*Provide clerical
assistance
