Approximately 6 am : The sacred fire will be lit in the Ellipse, and a traditional prayer circle will be held. 2. 8:30 am : Rally begins in Lafayette Park. 8:30 - 11 am : Comments by the survivors of Wounded Knee, the Pine Ridge "Reign of Terror" and the Incident at Oglala : David Chief, Rosalind J. Bull, Marie Fox Belly, Fedelia Cross, Ellen Moves Camp, Edgar Bear Runner. Jean Roach and Jean Day. 11- 12 noon : Freedom Runners arrive from Philadelphia Liberty Bell and are welcomed with prayer ceremony presided over by David Chief, Lakota spiritual leader. Drumming and singing for prayer ceremony. 12-1pm ; comments by relatives of Leonard Peltier 1pm -5pm : David Chief prepares Native Freedom Fasters with prayers and drumming ceremony. Fasting begins. TUESDAY NOV. 2 : 6:30 am : Lafayette Park : Traditional prayer circle. 10 am - 11: 30 : Ceremonial Presentation of Letters of Support to White House accompanied by prayer , drumming, singing session. Comments by Native American leaders. WEDNESDAY NOV. 3 6:30 a.m. : Prayer circle in Lafayette Park 10-11 am : Pine Ridge Survivors will discuss history of Wounded Knee Massacre and tribal history. 11- 12 : Question and Answer ; educational period 12-1pm : Performance of play about Wounded Knee. 2-5 pm : Commemoration of 64 Native persons killed at Pine Ridge.
