From September 13-15, the Air Force Association will hold its annual Arms Bazaar at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel, Connecticut Avenue & Woodley Road. Some 75 top US and foreign military contractors will peddle their latest high-tech weaponry to Pentagon officials and agents from other countries. Militarism will be glorified!

In response, the Dorothy Day Catholic Worker [202-882-9649] will organize a Disarm Bazaar on Sept. 13 from 12 noon to 1 PM, with a vigil and leafletting, and September 14 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, with a nonviolent vigil at the main entrance to the hotel during the Air Force Association's $195 per plate banquet.
