***Citizens of D.C. ! ! !***
What Have They Done To Our City??
Thanks to Congress and the President, "D.C." now stands for
"Don't Count"!
They're saying we Don't Count because:
They took away our right to elect our own government
They took away our right to control our lives and guild a future for our children
They installed an unelected occupying force called the Control Board which runs our city but is not answerable to us
In spite of all this -
One-third of D.C.'s children still live in poverty
D.C;'s infrastructure is still crumbling
· The wealthy corporate elite are still getting rich by stealing our city's wealth and resources
IN A COUNTRY THAT CLAIMS TO BE THE LEADING VOICE FOR DEMOCRACY -
DEMOCRACY IS NON-EXTSTENT IN ITS OWN CAPITOL CITY!
ENOUGH!!
T h e Solution:
When government ceases to serve the people, the citizens have a right and a duty to reclaim it for themselves. It's time to make a stand and take back our city - OUR CITY! Not theirs!ALL
