U.S. Government:

Release the Cuban Medical Aid! End the U.S. Blockade of Cuba!

On February 21st, five members of Pastors for Peace began a public "Fast for Life" on the US-Mexico border in San Ysidro, CA.

The fast is in response to a brutal attack by U.S. Treasury police January 31st on a U.S. - Cuba Friendshipment Caravan. These cops seized 400 computers which were donated from communities across the U.S. and Canada to form part of INFOMED, an on-line medical information system that will connect every hospital and clinic in Cuba. The United Nations and the Pan-American Health Organization are assisting with the project, as are Cuban churches.

As the fast entered its 6th week, the festers moved to DC to confront the U.S. government and demand the return of the stolen computers. The "Fasters for Life" are determined to continue until the medical aid to Cuba is released!
