Sita, who knows some Sanskrit, said that to the best of her knowledge and recollection the Sanskrit word for man means "One who has a mind." Assuming that Sita is correct, I think the connections between "Good and Evil" and the consciousness of death might be even less tenuous. Box 27217 Washington, D.C. 20038 (202) 462-0747 March 19, 1992 Glenn Morrison 4200 Cathedral Avenue N.W. #307 Washington, D.C. 20016-4931 Dear Glenn, I am writing in reply to your telephone conversation with Ellen. We are very pleased with your interest in Proposition One. Our operational theory is simple: law is a matter of mutual agreement. Subsequently, it everyone agreed that Proposition One was "the law" -- obviously -- it would be "the law." Conversely, until enough people agree that Proposition One should not be the law, it will be nothing more than an idea. We can start the ball rolling here in the District of Columbia by qualifying Proposition One as D.C. Initiative 37. Presently we need the signutures of 25,000 registered D.C. voters to qualify Initiative 37 for the ballot in 1992. The next stage would be for the concept to go national, and international. This will require that individuals in the separate jurisdictions of this country begin to promote the concept within their own jurisdictions. Peace through Reason" is a video designed to introduce people to this concept. It is narrated by Dr. Ted Taylor, an internationally respected physicist who once engineered the most advanced nuclear weapons, but who now devotes his life to eliminating nuclear weapons, and serves on our Board of Advisors. This video features a political/economic history of the Bomb with appearances by leading figures. This video is the best device we've come up with for explaining the moral and economic imperatives of Proposition One. If you would like the show the video to groups, if can arrange to get a copy to you. We hope to hear from you soon. In service to Peace and Justice (Truth & Freedom),
