Washington, D.C. 20077-0920 Dear Mr. Brown: This is in response to your request for ideas and involvement. Go as far as you can to challenge George Bush's reliance on the politics of division and race. Demonstrate an alternative. I think the most you can do to counter the planned vicious attacks on your candidates is to focus on issues. If you want to gain support for your party I would suggest that you consider the issues -- rather than which candidates -- deserve serious attention. Present concrete solutions to real problems. Change is inevitable. A new world order is coming. Your challenge, I think, is to present a plan which will employ the vast resources of this nation wisely. THE PROPOSITION ONE COMMITTEE WOULD LIKE TO ARRANGE TO SHOW YOU A VIDEO ENTITLED PROPOSITION ONE; PEACE THROUGH REASON. The video is narrated by Dr. Ted Taylor (see enclosure) and features a political/economic history of the Bomb with appearances by leading figures. We think it makes a clear connection between international military expenditures, domestic economic problems, and a plan to rectify the situation. In order for this idea to succeed it will need to be the subject of a broad and enthusiastic movement. This video is the a good devise for stimulating interest in the idea. I encourage you to investigate this idea. If it's another 21st Amendment movement in the making your party should get on the bandwagon early. Hope to hear from you soon. In service to Unity and Harmony (Justice and Peace), Thomas
