Dear Mr. McCarthy:

     People have been telling me that they have read your Vigil for
Life essay in at least of couple of periodicals beside the Post. 
Thanks for your assistance. 

     I noticed that you received a dishonorable reference in
today's Post, which, in part, prompted me to respond with the
enclosed diatribe.

     To update you on some of the progress of Proposition One: 
there are a few members of our group here are out on the road,
trying to set up committees in other areas.

     Ted Taylor, a physicist of considerable renown, has joined our
Board of Advisors. 

     We have also received word that an independent group in
whatever-you-want-to-call ex-Soviet Union is on working on the
concept of Proposition One.  See letter with our translation on the
reverse side.

     The National Greens Party endorsed Proposition One at its
annual Gathering in Elkins, West Virginia.  Some local groups are
starting to work on Proposition One.
