William Thomas l440 N Street NW, Apt. 410 Washington, DC 20005 (202) 462-3542 October 10, 1988 Becky Delanoy 1031 Garden Drive Villa 7 New Port Richey, Florida 34652 Dear Mom: I've gotten at least two letters from you since last I've written. As usual my only excuse is that I haven't gotten around to writing. I am working to overcome those of my shortcomings which have contributed to my tardy correspondence. Glad to learn that your medical problems aren't as serious as they might have been. We have been thinking about Savannah lately. As you are probably aware the nation's main production plant for weapons grade radioactive material is located at a place called Savannah River. Recently it has come to light that there have been a number of serious accidents which occured at the Savannah River plant, and which the government attempted to cover-up. Ho-hum. Hope Joey and his family are doing well, and that Joey decides not to re-enlist. I note that you are working for an attorney. I'm still hoping to find one that is willing to "go the extra mile." I did have the opportunity to work with an attorney on the case of one of my friends. Last Friday that attorney helped us to make some progress in our struggle to remain out of jail and on the front lines of communication, when he acted as my friend's mouthpiece and won an acquital from a judge who has never been notably sympathetic. Additionally, Sunrise is currently involved in a legal battle, in which I have been priviledged to lend some assistance. Of course we are, as usual, involved in extensive civil litigation. All in all things are going rather well. Ellen is involved in a writing course at the George Washington University here. We are also working on several other projects which show some promise. Will keep you informed. Love, William Thomas l440 N Street NW, Apt. 410 Washington, DC 20005 (202) 462-3542
