     Congratulations on what is perhaps your most sagacious move
toward understanding.

     Your reported decision to negotiate with the Soviet Union on
space based weapons indicates to me a step toward civilization.

     I pray you will be influenced by a spirit of trust in your
negotiations, and that you will bring us all closer to a world
which relies on faith in our Creator rather than in the strength of
our own ability to destroy.
