NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC
The western portion of Lafayette Park will be closed to the public from 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 6, 2001, through 10 a.m., Friday, March 9, 2001. A map illustrating the closed park area is attached.
The park area will be closed to the public to provide security and ensure public safety during the official visit of foreign dignitary of South Korea. Persons demonstrating or otherwise using this park area should remove themselves and any personal property from the closed park areas by 12 noon, March 6, 2001. The National Park Service appreciates the public's cooperation in this matter.
