The approximate western half of Lafayette Park will be closed to the public, including demonstrators on Friday, March 24, from approximately 12:00 noon until approximately 6:00 p.m. Thursday, March 30. A map illustrating the closed area is identified on the reverse of this notice.

Persons demonstrating or otherwise using the portion of the park to be dosed should remove themselves and any personal property from the area.

This action is necessary to provide security to the President and to the visiting Head of State.

The National Park Service appreciates the public's cooperation in this matter.
