Portions of Lafayette Park, starting at Jackson Place and "H" Street N.W., southwardly to Pennsylvania Avenue as described with the shaded area on the reverse, will by closed to the public and demonstrators' use on Tuesday, July 25, 1995, beginning at 12 a.m., and ending at approximately 5 p.m., on Friday, July 28, 1995, for a visiting Head of State.
Persons demonstrating or otherwise using these park areas sould remove themselves and any personal property from these areas. You may, if you wish, leave your demonstration signs during the closure. However, the National Park Service cannot accept responsibility for your personal property.
These actions involving extra ordinary measures are necessary to provide for secure routes of access and security for visiting dignitaries.
