The entire southeast and southwest portions of Lafayette Park,excluding the segment of the center portion as depicted on the reverse, and the entire sidewalk from Pennsylvania Avenue to "H" Street Jackson Place, will be closed to the public and demonstrators' use from Sunday, June 12, at 11a.m., through 10 p.m. on Monday, June 13.

Persons demonstrating or otherwise using these park areas should remove themselves and any personal property from these areas. You may, if you wish, leave your demonstration signs during the closure. However, the National park Service cannot accept responsibility for your personal property.

These actions are necessary to provide for secure routes of access and security for visiting dignitaries.
