Witness at Demonstration 2/23
The people were peacefully linking arms and hands when the police broke through the circle, pushing shoving and already with sticks out, I was pushed away to the fence in front of the door of the paddy wagon. A fellow demonstrator was bent over on his knees his head underneath the body of the truck nearly under the wheelcase. Still hee was being beaten by two cops in front and back while he struggled to get from under the wheel.
Another man was standing at the back door being cuffed and was hit with the stick after he was already cuffed. The one police were pretending he was shoving because he'd lost his balance after pushed by the other.
