ORDER

This matter came before the Court this date on a hearing on the federal defendants' motion to dismiss, the District of Columbia's motion to dismiss, and plaintiffs' motion for a permanent injunction. On January 6, 1989 at some unknown time, plaintiffs filed, at the Guard's desk, three pleading. which were originally due January 3, 1989, but whose deadline had been extended until 5:00 p.m. January 5, 1989. These pleadings were to be considered at the motions hearing held this date. At said hearing plaintiffs moved for leave to file the following pleadings in lieu of the three previously filed pleadings: (1) Plaintiff's Clarification of Complaint; (2) Plaintiffs' Response to the Federal Defendants' Supplemental Motion to Dismiss; (3) Plaintiffs' Response to the District of Columbia's Motion to Dismiss or for Summary Judgment; (4) Plaintiffs' Opposition to the Federal Defendants' Submission of Judge Oberdorfer's Order of September 16, 1988, Defendant Michael Canfield's Submission of Magistrate Burnett's Memorandum of December 15, 1987 and

Innuendos of Litigiousness. In addition, plaintiffs moved forleave to file a large compilation of documents, referred to as "Appendix". Upon consideration of plaintiffs' oral application, it is hereby

ORDERED that the above four pleadings will be accepted for filing as of this date in lieu of the three previously filed pleadings. It is

FURTHER ORDERED that the Appendix will be accepted for filing subject to the following qualification. Plaintiffs must file, by January 17, 1989, a written summary of the Appendix, specifically referencing, by paragraph number both Plaintiffs' Clarification of Complaint as well as the only complaint remaining in this case, i.e., the second amended complaint. There shall be no extension of this deadline. It is

FURTHER ORDERED that defendants shall reply to the Appendix, the written summary, and any of the four pleadings of plaintiff accepted this date for filing, on or before January 27, 1989. There shall be no extensions of this deadline.
