DEFENDANT'S NOTICE OF RECEIPT
Defendant pro se, William Thomas,
hereby notes that:
I.
On May 21, 1987 he received, by U.S. mail, a copy of Government's
Response To Defendant's Response To The Government's Motion To Reconsider And
Defendant's Motion For Judicial Notice, And Defendant's Motion To Reconsider
Defendant's Motions To Dismiss For Lack Of Offense, Malicious Prosecution, Ex
Post Facto Enforcement, Necessity Defense And Discovery, which was filed, by
ASUA Linda Chapman, on May 18, 1987.
II.
The Government has utterly failed to mount a serious challenge to the
sincerity of defendant's beliefs.
III.
There is not a hint of any "compelling," or even a rationally
articulated interest which might justify the application of the regulation at
issue against this defendant.
IV. The Government has made absolutely no
effort to address the legal issues raised in Murdock v. Pennsylvania,
319 U.S. 105(1943), Thomas v. Review Board, 450 U.S. 707(1981), or L.
Tribe, American Constitutional Law, Sections 14‑16.
Respectfully
submitted,
