PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

 

Peace Park Antinuclear Vigilers hope friends will come
celebrate 24 years of standing at the White House gates,

24 hours a day, since June 3, 1981, calling for global nuclear disarmament.

Place:

5:00-7:30 pm - Lafayette (Peace) Park, north of the White
House, Metro to McPherson Square or Farragut South - bring
drums, music, leaflets, banners, whatever, and express your
own opinions alongside the vigil signs

7:15 pm - Circle

7:30 pm - Walk together to Peace House, 10 blocks from the
White House, 1233 12th Street NW, for a potluck get-together
RSVP if you can make it!

We'll bring van to Peace Park to carry any food offerings
and people who can't walk to the Peace House.
