20th Anniversary Event
Dear Friends,
We deeply honor Thomas, Concepcion, Ellen and all the hundreds of friends and supporters who have endured unspeakable hardship these past twenty years to embody our demand for the total abolition of nuclear weapons. To honor the Peace Park Anti-nuclear vigil on this momentous 20th anniversary, The Hiroshima/Nagasaki Peace Committee of the National Capital Area Gray Panthers announces that our dear friend Ellen Thomas will represent the Community at the World Conference Against Atomic & Hydrogen Bombs this August 3-9 in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan.
