Conversations with Jo Butler in September 1995 prompted the
idea of a SECOND global convention for nuclear disarmament here in Washington
DC (Jo advised there has already been one, the National Peoples Campaign). Jo suggested:
- Peace convention should be inclusive of all nuclear issues.
- Coordinate with other issues and organizations!!!
- Offer for groups to send organisers to DC months in advance to help plan and
organize.
- National Peoples Campaign, what lessons can we learn from them?
- Nuclear arms research continues today
