AFFIDAVIT OF CONCEPCION PICCIOTTO

RELATING TO EVENTS OF AUGUST 4, 1985
(TIME: 4:15 A.M.)

On or about 4:15 A.M. on the 4th of August, I was seated between my signs when I heard banging noises. As I went near the noise I saw Mr. William Hale on the ground struggling with a young man. My signs were broken and on the ground. About ten feet away another young man was trying to get away.

I saw a motorcycle policeman at a distance and I yelled to him. It was Officer Burnett of the Park Police, who stopped the young men and questioned them about the destroyed property.

Officer Burnett radioed for assistance while he was checking the I.D. of the two men and getting information.

Soon a Park Police cruiser came with Sgt Walkowich. He and Officer Burnett exchanged words. Walkowich went back to the car and after a few minutes he called Officer Burnett over, who remained watching the two men on the bench.

Officer Burnett returned and informed me that it was a misdemeanor, that he did not witness it, and suggested that I make a complaint to the Citizens Complaint Bureau.

The names of the young men who destroyed my signs were:

RICHARD CASEY (SS 261 95 0440)
